Healthy Yummy Chili

 

Healthy Turkey Chili

6 Fresh Roma Tomatoes

1 Med Sweet Onion chopped

3 Cloves Garlic minced

Red, Yellow and Green Sweet Peppers chopped to the same volume as onion

1 cup Beer + or -

½ Cup Chicken or Veg stock if needed

2 ears corn stripped or ½ cup frozen corn

1 lb Ground Turkey

2 cans of Organic Red or Pinto beans (optional use of rehydrated dry beans)

1 heaping scoop Isagenix Greens  (vitamins and micro-nutrients from over 30 different vegetables)

1 tbl spoon olive oil

1 Package McCormic low sodium mild chili mix or your favorite chili seasoning

On medium heat olive oil, add onion, peppers and garlic and cook until onion is clear and peppers are soft.

Add tomatoes, corn, beer and enough stock to level with tomato mix and stir to blend.

Bring to boil, cover, lower heat and simmer 20 to 30 minutes stirring occasionally

In skillet brown turkey add ground pepper and lightly salt to taste.

Add Isegenix Greens and chili seasoning and beans to vegetable mixture and fold to completely blend

Fold in turkey and simmer until liquid is reduced and slightly thickens, about 30 minutes

Optional: add hot peppers or your favorite hot sauce to taste.
